My DigitalBusiness Launch

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal information My Digital Business Launch collects when you use this website and watch the free webinar, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

Who we are

My Digital Business Launch (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the free business opportunity webinar it offers, hosted by Gladys Osagie. We are based in Ireland.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@mydigitalbusinesslaunch.com. Where data protection law applies (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”, and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018), we are the “controller” of the personal data described below.

Information we collect

We collect only what the site needs to work:

  • Registration details — your first name and email address, when you ask for the free webinar, plus the page/campaign you came from (for example UTM campaign parameters in a link) and the time you registered.
  • Webinar access — a private access link is created for you. We store only a protected (hashed) form of its token, when it was issued and when it expires.
  • Webinar activity — when you open your link and the webinar page, your viewing sessions, which parts of the video you actually played, how much you genuinely watched, the video version, your last playback position (so you can continue where you stopped), which milestones you reached (25%, 50%, 75%, 90%), whether you completed it, and device and browser type.
  • Choices after the webinar — whether and how often you click Join Now, Buy Now or Contact me on WhatsApp. We record the click; we do not see what happens on the other site.
  • Email delivery information — whether an email to you was sent, bounced or was reported as spam, so we do not keep emailing an address that cannot or should not receive mail.
  • Security and technical information — your IP address is used to protect the site from abuse (for example rate limiting and bot checks). In our own systems it is kept only in protected, hashed form and not as a plain address.
  • Messages — anything you send us by email or that we send to you individually.

We do not collect payment card details (purchases happen on the seller’s own site) and we do not ask you for sensitive personal information.

How we use your information

  • To send you the webinar access link and let you watch, resume and revisit the webinar.
  • To understand how the webinar is used (see “Webinar analytics”) and to improve it.
  • To follow up about the webinar or the next steps you asked about, including replying to you personally.
  • To keep the site, our systems and other people’s information secure, and to prevent spam, bots and abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Depending on the activity, we rely on: your request to receive the webinar; our legitimate interests in running a secure site and understanding how the webinar performs; and consent where the law requires it (for example for non-essential cookies, which we do not currently use). If you object to a use based on legitimate interests, contact us.

Webinar analytics

We measure genuine viewing: the video player records which stretches of the video were actually played, not just how far the slider moved, and reports summary figures to our server every so often (not continuously). We use this to see, for each registrant, how much of the webinar they watched, where they stopped and which options they chose.

We do not record your screen, camera or microphone, and we do not build advertising profiles or share this activity with advertisers.

Email communication

Your access link and related messages are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). We may also email you individually, for example to reply to you or help with access. We do not currently send automated marketing email sequences. If you would like us to stop contacting you, or to delete your details, contact support@mydigitalbusinesslaunch.com.

Cookies and browser storage

  • We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
  • When you watch, your browser tab keeps a random session identifier in its session storage so a refresh continues the same viewing session. It is not shared with other sites and is cleared when the tab closes.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (our anti-bot check on the registration form) may use its own browser storage or cookies to do its job; those are governed by Cloudflare’s policies.
  • A sign-in cookie is set only for our own administrators.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process personal data on our behalf, only as needed for their service:

  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website and application.
  • MongoDB (database hosting) — storing registrations, webinar activity and settings.
  • Amazon Web Services — SES to send email, and S3 to store and deliver the webinar video (AWS receives technical request data such as your IP address when your browser fetches the video).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that a registration is made by a person, not a bot (it receives technical information such as your IP address and browser signals).
  • Upstash (Redis) — short-lived counters for rate limiting, keyed by protected identifiers rather than by your name or email.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it. When you choose to follow a Join Now, Buy Now or WhatsApp link you leave our site: what that provider does with your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area (for example Amazon SES in the United States). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the safeguards required by GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, as offered by those providers.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then delete or anonymise it. We do not currently apply an automatic deletion period, so you can ask us to delete your details at any time. We keep a minimal record that an address bounced or asked not to be contacted so that we do not email it again.

How we protect information

We use measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), secret, single-purpose access links stored only in hashed form, restricted administrator access with signed-in sessions, rate limiting and bot checks. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under data protection law you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict how we use your data;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent (this does not affect what we did before).

To use any of these rights, email support@mydigitalbusinesslaunch.com. We may need to verify who you are first. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority: in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The “last updated” date above shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let registrants know.
